Our Story
The Greenbrier Youth Camp is a non-profit (501-C 3) corporation and is supported through the efforts of many volunteers. Nearly 7,000 persons (including repeat visitors) from West Virginia and the surrounding states. Many different groups use the camp facility every year.
The length of stay varies from two to six days. The camp also hosts day-long meetings, training sessions, weddings, picnics, and reunions. |
The first 4-H camp was held here in 1954. We have since expanded to include a wide variety of campers, both young people and adults. Campers include 4-Her's, Scouts, church groups, science, bird-watching and band camps, family reunions, college athletic teams, corporate retreats and public dinners. Sports events, such as the American Lung Society's "Greenbrier River Trail Trek" is a popular event at the camp
